Snack Time

One of my favorite late night snacks is monkey bread, but not the cinnamon-sugar kind.  Nothing except butter and garlic is going near this bread dough.

Savory Monkey Bread

1 premade loaf of white bread dough (this can be store bought or homemade--about half of the Dinner Rolls recipe)
4 Tbs of butter
2-4 cloves of garlic (minced) or a spoonful of preminced garlic
  1. Let the dough thaw and rise until doubled in size.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  3. Melt butter in a glass container and add garlic.
  4. Pinch off small balls of dough and roll into the butter/garlic mixture.
  5. Place in a round 8" or 9" baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
